    Colin Kennedy

    Chairman and Director

    In his role as director and chairman Colin has oversight of the whole business.

    He is responsible for business development and for joint and new ventures for the company.

     

    Jamie Cromar

    Director

    In his role as director, Jamie has responsibility for the factory facilities, the day to day operations, Quality Assurance, NACE II accreditation and job costing. He also looks after on site operations.

    Craig Gowans

    Director

    As General Manager Craigs role is at the forefront of the business. Craig ensures customers remain satisfied with quality, turnaround and budgetary expectations.

    Debbie Robertson

    Director \ Accounts

    Debbie is our facility manager. She manages our accounts, client liaison and the necessary legislation. Company reporting and internal and external communications are also her remit.

  • History of Gorilla

    Gorilla Corrosion (Services) Ltd started operations in 1984 trading initially as Tayblast Services Ltd.

     

    Throughout the next three years the Tayblast operation grew from strength to strength, expanding more into the oil related industries and formulating new processes and treatments for asset protection.

     

    As part of this natural growth Tayblast bought and moved into the purpose out-fitted Lunan facility in 1987. An 18 000sq ft purpose built blast and coating facility form part of the facilities here.

     

    Throughout further expansion, management re-structuring and business growth opportunities the company then re-formed in 2010 as Gorilla Corrosion (Services) Ltd. This rebranding of the nationally recognised and award winning Tayblast Services to Gorilla Corrosion (Services) Ltd serves to move the company forward during an introduction of new management, new markets and the availability of new products.

     

    This change of direction includes the setting up and provision of cutting edge asset integrity services in both Doha, Qatar and Takoradi, Ghana.

Our staff are at the heart and soul of our company.  Their expertise and commitment ensure the continuity of over 30 years of quality and expertise demonstrated by the company.

 

They are the driving force towards improvement, expansion and process development within the organisation.
